The Interior Materials

Featherlite Prevost

The inspiration for Coach 3915's design began with the treasured find of custom antique, smoked mirror tile and the vision of how pretty a sconce light would reflect off the tile in the evening hours while sipping a flute of champagne.  The initial imagery blossomed into a modern twist on Hollywood Regency done the Featherlite way - refined and simplified, creating a timeless elegance.  A muted, softer version of the classic black and white scheme.  Opulent but not overdone with a depth of materials from the plush velvet sofa in a stain resistant finish, to a strikingly dramatic marble shower accent wall.  The balance of classically handsome sophistication and Old Hollywood Glamour creates a sleek and modern space where life's richest moments are meant to take place.

“Mirrors have come to mean much more than the original ‘looking glass.’ They are now a part of the decorative scheme of a modern home. By using them, there are no dark, gloomy corners, no drab caverns for halls. There can be a feeling of freedom, light, air, space."

Dorthy Draper,

the mother of Hollywood Regency style

Shower Tile: This hand-made micro marble mosaic is single cut by hand.  The combination of marbles (carrara with lagos, white carrara and black) creates a stunningly beautiful, interesting, and classic look.

Hardwood Flooring: The maple driftwood flooring is a textured hardwood designed for real life with texture to help hide the marks and scuffs of daily use.

Sconce Lights: Bolsa LED wall sconces feature beautiful bubbles suspended inside clear acrylic.

Countertops: Cesarstone, White Attica quartz - combining dense, dark and mild grey veins on a flawless white base.  Inspired by classic, natural, ancient marble architecture, it blends beauty, tradition and style.  Quartz is a superior material due to: its nonporous nature - making it impervious to stains, durability, and low-maintenance.

Faucets: Delta's soft, modern take on European design create a smooth, sophisticated focal point.  The matte black finish keeps things feeling fresh.

The Galley

Saint-Germain's kitchen is designed with the chef in mind and holds a few secrets - an integrated dishwasher drawer, large basin sink with covers to extend your counter space, and custom utensil drawer, just to name a few.  We've kept the window glass in the galley wide open to take in the expansive views of your adventures.  Quartz was chosen for the countertops for their hardness, durability and extremely low maintenance - that means less time cleaning and more time for fun.

The Build Process

Coach 3915 Crafting

The design details for Saint-Germain are brought to life in a careful and meticulous manner, carried out by our master artisans.

Stage 1 of the build process involves extensive insulation for both temperature control and sound dampening as well as rough plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

The crafting continues.

Stage 2 of the build process involves the continuation of electrical, plumbing and HVAC as well as ceiling, bulkhead, and casework.

The crafting continues.

As we enter Stage 3 of the build process, you can really start to see the Coach come together.   The hardwood flooring is installed (note the interesting pattern), AV equipment installation begins, shower waterproofing, and the last of the casework is installed.

The crafting continues.

As we enter Stage 4 of the build process, the design details start to come to life.  Stunning tile in the huge shower, HVAC ducting in the ceiling is completely concealed while maintaining optimal efficiency, appliances are installed, and our quality controls continue.

We will continue to update the images here during the build process.  Check back to see the progress!

The Finishing Touches

The final finishing touches will be decor.

The decor package turns in a feminine direction to compliment and balance the interior bones which lean towards masculine sophistication. Blush accents amp up the glam.  Jules & Peabody has established her own twist on Regency Moderne in "Saint-Germain" with antique mirror, plush fabrics, lucite led sconces and feminine accessories.

We encourage our new owners to decorate with the beloved treasures from their travels and reminders of their loved ones.
